22 minutes. This is a short dramatic film made as part of the television anthology series "The Shields Stories". I wrote (adapted) and directed this episode and was story editor and creative producer on the series. Two brothers from a musical family try to shield their younger sister, a violinist and composer, from the anxious world of performance after the untimely death of their father. But ultimately she triumphs, both in her performance and in liberating herself from the emotional shackles of her family.
