Beach Story

Description

14 minutes. I was the writer, director and co-editor of this film, which I made while I was a Writer/Director resident at the Canadian Film Centre. In it, a mother and daughter with very little in common spend some non-communicative time together at the beach. The daughter has memories of a long-ago time on a similar beach and experiences an epiphany, of sorts, leading her to forgive her mother, a little.
